We miss you all

Hi everyone,

Well, it's been almost a month since we moved to Las Vegas. Kay and I wanted to take a moment to let you all know how it's going. First of all, we miss you all and the choir tremendously! We are finally digging our way out from under all of the boxes and beginning to settle in our new home. We live on the west side of Las Vegas in an area called Summerlin. It is really nice and high enough in elevation to be a few degrees cooler than downtown Las Vegas. Our new church, Holy Spirit Catholic Church, is only 1.7 miles from our house. It is a beautiful church and the priest are wonderful, but no place is as warm and welcoming as The Church of the Resurrection. We really miss our former parish. The choir at Holy Spirit has been on summer break for the month of August so we haven't made any decision about joining the choir or not. They do have a Knights of Columbus Council and all sorts of parish ministries so we will see where the Holy Spirit leads us. Anyway, we are getting settled in our home and busy finding new doctors, dentists, grocery stores, veterinarians, restaurants, etc. We've been getting together with Kay's family a lot and trying to get used to our new life. We miss you all and hope to see you if you get to Las Vegas. I still miss getting scolded by Robert for my Southern twang at choir practice 😉. Kay and I send our love!
